Some candidates make the campaign almost entirely about themselves. The stronger approach begins with the voter: what matters to them, what problem are they trying to solve, and why should the candidate’s message matter in their daily life?
Candidate biography and experience can be valuable proof, but they are most persuasive when they are connected to a voter benefit. A disciplined campaign continually translates “what I have done” into “what this means for you.”
