Running for office can be rewarding, exhausting, and intimidating all at once. A campaign has hundreds of moving parts, but a strong foundation makes the work more manageable and gives every tactic a purpose.
Start with the fundamentals: know the race, define a reason for running, understand the electorate, build a disciplined message, organize the campaign, create a realistic budget, and work backward from Election Day. No checklist replaces judgment, but a clear structure keeps the campaign from becoming reactive.
